MooseCreek Park currently consists of 3 core members. Vinny Cederna (vocals / guitar), Ryan Brown (vocals, guitar)
and Jared Kloppenburg (drums).
Members Jared and Vinny both played in another punk project with Jared's brother, Erik from 2018-2019 ( $2 Wave ). Though the band split and each member continued working on projects separately, the three would wind up reconnecting during the
covid-19 pandemic (late 2020 / early 2021). Initially they started playing music together purely out of boredom. Time passed and venues began opening their doors to the public again. At that point the idea of "MooseCreek Park" had already been established for nearly a year.
MooseCreek Park played their first show at One Eye Jacks in Bethpage, New York on 10/29/21.
After playing locally for a few months the band recorded their first demo (done by Tameem Shaker of Necropia).
"Grumin" was a short set of fun, twinkly and immature in your face emo songs that quickly gained popularity on Long Island after its release on 4/20/2022. .
In April of 2022 Erik Kloppenburg stepped down from his spot as the bass player in MooseCreek due to health complications.
John Puccini (bass player of LIHC band Liberate and guitarist in LI Doom band Ozoth) joined MooseCreek Park on bass during the spring of 2022 to assist in the writing of MooseCreek's debut LP "Hope This Clears Things Up." The band spent 3 weeks tracking 10 songs at Sound Acres in New Jersey with Gary Cioni who produced, engineered and mixed the record (September 2022).
Not long after the bands first 10 day session, Ryan Brown of The Fishermen joined MooseCreek as the second guitarist/singer and finished the rest of the record at Sound Acres with them.
In early March 2023, MooseCreek Park signs with Thumbs Up Records for a highly anticipated debut LP.
March 14th 2023: MooseCreek releases lead single "Ok Dylan" before leaving for their freshman tour with TRSH from Springfield MO.
May 1st 2023: MooseCreek releases second single "Dash O'Fish" on May 1st 2023 and announces debut LP " Hope This Clears Things Up.".
June 1st 2023: MooseCreek Park releases third and final single "Pieces"
"Hope This Clears Things Up." was released via Thumbs Up Records on July 1st of 2023.
After the release of their debut LP, MooseCreek returned to Sound Acres to track their first EP "copy, paste." with Gary Cioni for one week during July 2023. Following the completion of the record, John Puccini chose to step down from his position in the band to pursue other projects (Liberate + Ozoth).
